Download and install the Field Management Cloud Connector. This will install the Field Controller service, Field Recovery Agent service and all prerequisites.

Download the Diagnostic Report Script if requested to run it by Best Practice Support.
Extract the script and run as administrator in a PowerShell window to gather useful diagnostic details:

The diagnostics will be output to a file called BestPracticeDiagnosticsReport.json.

Download the Action Man application to perform maintenance commands via the command line.

BpsActionMan.exe --Cleanup
Removes up any old downloads and log files.
Note: This argument is automatically added for other arguments that cause installs or uninstalls so files can be cleaned up afterwards.
BpsActionMan.exe --FieldMaintenanceSetup
Sets up the Field Maintenance scheduled task and powershell script to remediate the installation of the Field Components.
BpsActionMan.exe --Help
Displays the available arguments.
BpsActionMan.exe --Info
Displays human readable device desired and current configuration details.
BpsActionMan.exe --NukeServices
Manually removes services that still exist in the service control mananger and program files directories even after uninstallation.
Note: Can only be run if services have already attempted to be uninstalled, either manually or via the --Uninstall command.
BpsActionMan.exe --PortRegistryKeys
Ports registry values between old and new keys. Obsolete
Note: This argument is obsolete as no production machines use the old registry keys.
BpsActionMan.exe --RemediateBundle
Remediates the installation of the Cloud Connector bundle to ensure the Field Components are installed and up to date.
Note: This may cause the latest Cloud Connector installer to be downloaded which will be approximately 270 megabytes.
BpsActionMan.exe --RemediateInstall
Remediates the installation of the Field Components to ensure they are installed and up to date. The Cloud Connector bundle is not updated or installed and obsolete versions are removed.
BpsActionMan.exe --RequestFieldConfiguration
Requests the devices Field Configuration.
Note: This argument is automatically added for other arguments that require a Field Configuration.
BpsActionMan.exe --SendDeviceState
Sends device state to Best Practice Cloud.
BpsActionMan.exe --Uninstall
Completely removes the installation of the Cloud Connector bundle and all Field Components and associated files.
BpsActionMan.exe --UninstallHaloClient
Uninstalls the Halo Client if this is not a Server installation of Premier.
BpsActionMan.exe --UpdateMaintenanceScript
Updates the Field Maintenance script by downloading it or using an embedded version.
